Basecamp Wales statement on Coronavirus

The safety of our staff and visitors is our first priority and as a leading hostel in North Wales we recognise our broader role in supporting public health and wellbeing.

Masks or face covering must be warn whilst in communal areas, and social distancing adhered to, refusal may result in forfeit of reservation

Any person or group found to be ignoring Government guidelines or Basecamp Rules on social distancing will be asked to leave the premises forfeiting any reservation or refund.

All rooms at Basecamp Wales are private and we do not operate any group dorm rooms which will minimise any risks for our customers.

Basecamp Wales already has very robust, detailed procedures in place to manage safeguarding and health. These are reviewed regularly, additional measures have been introduced including extra hand sanitiser dispensers & antibacterial hand washing facilities.

We are advising staff and visitors to follow the most up to date guidance and we are closely monitoring all of our operations.

If the situation changes in a way which will impact our approach, we will inform customers as soon as possible through internal channels, the this website and other appropriate media.
