Unlike traditional shared-dormitory hostels, Basecamp Wales exclusively provides private accommodation.

• Room Options: Guests can book private en-suite bedrooms or private bedrooms with access to high-quality shared bathroom facilities.

• Accessibility: All guest rooms are located on the first floor and are accessed strictly via a staircase.

Are there animals on the property?

Yes. The hostel is surrounded by active farmland and features resident livestock. Guests can see our free-range chickens, sheep, and friendly Alpacas on-site.

What is the maximum group size policy?

​

• Group Limit: The absolute maximum group size is 8 guests, which includes all adults, children, infants, and babies.

• Booking Rules: Large groups are not permitted. Multiple individual bookings made under separate names to bypass this limit will be detected, and entry will be refused without a refund.

• Child Registration: All infants and children must be explicitly included in the booking count.

Is Basecamp Wales pet-friendly?

No, pets are strictly prohibited at Basecamp Wales. To protect our resident Alpacas, sheep, and farm animals, pets cannot be brought onto the property or kept overnight inside vehicles.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

​

• Check-in Window: 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

• Check-out Time: Strictly by 10:00 AM on the day of departure, this includes all facilities and carparking.

• Notice: We operate on a strict schedule and are unable to accommodate early or late check-ins and departures.
